…coming up in 2024

It’s always encouraging to have a few publications/events lined up for the next year! 

I’m very pleased to have a new novella coming out in May, published by Cinnamon Press. It’s called ‘The Sisters of Cynvael’ and it won the 2022 Cinnamon Press Literature Award.

There’ll be an online launch at the beginning of May, more of which later. And more about the book, too!

I have a short story included in ‘Byways’, the next Arachne Press anthology. The story’s entitled ‘Palimpsest’ and is based on Pembrokeshire’s Golden Road.

And I’ve also got a story in the Botanical Short Stories anthology, published by the History Press and beautifully edited by Emma Timpany. This one is called ‘Emily Hiding in a Flower’, and the ‘Emily’ in question is the poet Emily Dickinson. I’m delighted to be in the book, as it’s my first time in hardback, and the contributions are accompanied by some wonderful illustrations by Sarah Jane Humphrey, R.H.S. Gold Medal Award winner, plus there are so many wonderful writers included.

Something else to be looking forward to (something I’ve wanted to do for a long time) – I’ve booked a course in Ty Newydd! So excited about this!
